Hot Yoga on Main was founded in June of 2013 in Trinidad, Colorado by studio manager, Gina Ojeda and owner, Lisa Camarillo. Both women relocated to northern New Mexico, and southern Colorado from Albuquerque, New Mexico. They both fell deeply in love with the small town vibes and wished to share the healing practice of yoga with the community. And so the journey began.
Hot Yoga on Main changed physical location around Trinidad a couple of times before growing roots in the Historic Bell Block Building. Did you know located in the atrium or common area of the Bell Block is the largest rubber tree in Colorado? It was transplanted in 1991 at only twelve feet tall and is now forty-five feet tall. A beautiful tree found roots and continues to expand, reaching for the light like the practice of yoga we share.
Our studio has over a decade of service in Trinidad. During tat time, we have learned how to heal from suffering into strong and mindful beings who take time and care of our individual self’s and the community collective. Inside this Sacred Space, we have grown through difficulties and challenges on the path to discover the best versions of ourselves. As we continue to build strength and flexibility of mind and body, we connect to Spirit space and welcome all to join the journey. No prior experience necessary. Come as you are, leave feeling lighter, brighter, and with a sense of belonging to a powerful community of change. Your yoga mat and our heated sanctuary await.
